Present community customized firmware is collected on the basis of the stock ROM S246 line.

Firmware detektirovanie, removed pre-installed by the manufacturer of the game and some apps, Yandex, some prilojeniya Google, removed live Wallpapers, constantly vilasuso when connecting the CD-ROM drive, etc. Just from the folder the application is uninstalled 21 app folder priv-App 4. Added ringtones and notification sounds, alerts. Sewn pointed the Hosts file to block ads. Installed custom recovery With twrp and the kernel customized for easy installation root

Copy the firmware files and root installer to the phone memory or on a USB drive (flash drive).

Turn off the phone.

Loaded the phone into recovery mode by holding both volume keys and the power button. As soon as the inscription Lenovo release the button. Start TWRP.

If you haven't done a backup, do it now. In the Backup section, tap the check box at all points.

Go to Wipe section and click the button "Advanced wipe" Installed daws on the following items: Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data.

Attention! The Preload point is not to choose in any case!

Return to the first page tab, perform Wipe and Factory Reset

Return to the main menu. Go to the tab INSTALL IN file Manager select the archive K920_S246_ROW_Lite_Deodex firmware and install it. The process takes about 2 min. After finished firmware and perform Wipe Dalvik immediately!!! set Root stitched archive UPDATE-SuperSU-Pro-v2.46

Did update Again with great battery backup.

ROM Size reduced to 380MB.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

Boot into recovery mode TWRP 2.8.7.0 and up recommended.
Now select wipe - Advance wipe, dalvik cache, system , cache , data.
Select install & select downloaded zip file.
Install success.
For Gapps use any opengapps from opengapps website with 5.1 arm64 gapps.

Carbon ROM

Carbon Rom based on Cm12. There are additional settings , but not all translated. Main it works, for standard YouTube there is a patch that allows you to view the video as 720,1080 p. Firmware for CN markup. Stavte GApps separately.

How to install

-Requires Unlocked Bootloader, CWM & Root

1) Place ROM & Gapps in your virtual SD

2) Reboot in Bootloader Mode

3) Go to "Recovery" (Vol -) and confirm (Vol +)

4) Select (Vol +/-) "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" and press Power button | For a clean

5) Select (Vol +/-) "Yes – Wipe all user data" and press Power button _| installation

6) Select (Vol +/-) "Install Zip", "Choose zip from /sdcard"

7) Go where you placed the ROM zip, select it and confirm

Re-do 7 and 8 with Gapps zip

9) Now "reboot system now"

Description:

The markup is compatible with Chinese. /system=1024MB, /data=2220Мб, /sdcard=256MB. Stupid /no preload.

For devices with 8GB internal memory you need:

- When flashing using Flash Tool to choose MT6582_Android_scatter_8GB.txt and as EBR2: EBR2_8GB

- To make cleaning of built-in storage. Settings -> Storage -> Clear internal memory.

When switching on the device record by default to the "SD card" installed/migrated the application on external card. Keshi games swinging on the external card. In order for the camera pictures/videos saved on the external card in the Camera settings to toggle save to "SD card".

s422 OTA +Root (ROW)

Notes for flashing:

* This is an OTA update, so flashing the zip is tricky. Proceed with the flashing process if you're interested in doing the process, otherwise wait for my next post with flash-ready TWRP backup of this rom.

* Before you do anything to flash this rom make a complete backup of your current rom.

Flashing process:

Step 1

– Download S205 ROW zip file, and flash it using provided SP Flash tool
– Boot the rom

Step 2
Follow one of these 2 methods:

Method 1 (Using official recovery)
  - Go to settings > about phone > system update > download and install the update
   (or download the "S205 to S422 OTA" zip, rename it as "update.zip" and put it in internal memory,
   Boot into official recovery and "install update")

  Method 2 (Using TWRP recovery)
   - Download the "S205 to S422 OTA (with Edited Updater Script)" zip, and put it in internal memory
   - Turn off the phone, Flash TWRP using SP Flash Tool, and boot into TWRP recovery
  - Install the "update.zip" from internal memory
   - BUT DON'T REBOOT SYSTEM AFTER FLASH. Instead, go to home> reboot> power off
   - Flash official stock recovery using SP Flash Tool
   - Now boot the phone as usual

Rooting process:

1. Download the following files Copy them to phone memory:
- patched boot image: http://q.gs/9s3Rx
- SuperSU 2.46: http://q.gs/9s3RG
2. Download TWRP v3.0.0-3 from http://adf.ly/1YWFRS and flash it using SP Flash Tool
3. Boot into TWRP and flash the "S422 Patched Boot.img" and then SuperSU 2.46 (Don't reboot between them)
4. Reboot System. Done! you have root.
