CyanogenMod 12.1 for Lenovo K3 Note.

Rom was not made by me but found on Chinese forum here: http://bbs.ydss.cn/thread-556198-1-1.html

HOW TO INSTALL RECOVERY

1. Enable Android Debug Bridge (ADB) in developer options on your phone
2. Plug your phone to your computer
3. Use commandline to reboot to bootloader: adb reboot bootloader
4. Check that your device is properly detected with command: fastboot devices
5. Flash recovery with command: fastboot flash recovery k3note-recovery.img

HOW TO INSTALL ROM

1. Make sure that your phone is powered on and plug it to your computer
2. Put the rom (cm12.1-k3note.zip) and gapps (gapps-64bit.zip) in your phone's internal memory
3. Use commandline to reboot to recovery: adb reboot recovery
4. Use option Wipe data/factory reset
5. Use option Wipe cache partition
6. Use option Advanced > Wipe dalvik cache
7. Use option Mounts & storage > Format system partition
8. Go to Install zip from sdcard and install cm12.1-k3note.zip
9. Repeat step 8 with gapps-64bit.zip
10. Return to CWM main menu and choose Reboot system now
11. Rom will boot. Remember that first boot takes a long time

Порядок установки

1. Скачиваем прошивку, закидываем в корень карты.
2. Загружаемся в PTR рекавери. (громкость +-, плюс кнопка питания)
3. Делаем бэкап, мало ли что.
4. Wipe-> Clean to install a new rom
5. Install, выбираем наш файл прошивки.

FAQ:

Q: How to enable Smart cover, Dual SIM or Double tap to wake support?

A: Open 'ROM Extra Settings' from settings and enable features you like.

Q: Where are performance modes?

A: Settings -> Battery or you can add it to notification drawer in settings.

Q: I can't find developer options and performance settings, why?

A: Settings -> About phone -> Click 'Build number' several times

Q: I don't have reboot options in power menu, why?

A: Settings -> Developer options -> Advanced reboot

Q: Why power button does not wake device?

A: Yes it does! You're just covering proximity sensor. There's "prevent accidential wakeup" option enabled by default.

Reporting Bugs:

Carefully describe how to reproduce the bug, if possible.

1) Grab a logcat right after/during the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)

in case of modem bugs, also "logcat -b radio" is needed. If possible log must be captured all way from boot.

2) If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

Look for /data/anr and /data/tombstones directories for crash logs to share.

Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more changes there are we can reproduce bug and possible fix it. Please also do not report known issues. The following is a useful format to follow:

Installation

Transfer my zip rom to your SD. Insert SD in phone.

Reboot phone , enter recovery (hold vol+ while rebooting). (Use mine from post , install with flash tools – scatter included +TWRP)

Press Wipe (Default one wipe data , davlik , cache – BACKUP impotant data , all will be lost) .

Return to main menu after finished.

Go to  install. Choose storage microSD at the middle-bottom

Select correct zip file (A3500FL_442.zip) from microSD , Install.

When finished , return to main menu and POWER off phone

Remove microSD and Start phone.

Wait a little bit longer than normal , Rom rebuilding data. Done!

Rom is Deodexed has Superuser (full root)  and Busybox support , zipaligned!

- Turn off your phone, remove the battery and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).

- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

How to keep your data between version updates:

Not recommended! Deselect userdata and cache partitions and your data should be intact. If you exprience problems I recommend a factory reset!

Essentially Naked AOSP. Cut almost all google service (do not use). Who needs a separate place franca. Leaving only a voice search. In File Manager displays a flash drive (remove unnecessary stump of 100 MB). SD-card is defined as the phone's memory. In the settings menu punched a unit with advanced settings (convenient). The firmware weighs 160 MB. Leaving only the necessary applications to run the system. As a launcher – Holo launcher (habit). If you play with the "checkbox" in the startup, when the system starts freely about 650 Mb ram. Camera 15 Mp (working on the phones HDR 2014), wrote in a video MPEG. In general, light nimble firmware, brushed on unnecessary waste. Bugs have not yet noticed. Installation using Flash Tool.
