AOSP 5.0.1 for Lenovo K3 Note
After a week of searching, and many frustrating attempts with the other ROMs listed here, I have finally located a stable and fully functional build.
Mobile Data, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and Google accounts all working flawlessly. Have also completed Deep Scan with ESET and could not find anything suspicious.
The only quirk I have found is that the Engineer Mode title option in Settings is in Spanish (Modo Ingeniero), everything else is as per Language setting.

Install process similar to other custom ROMs.
INSTALL RECOVERY
Activate developer mode by tapping repeatedly on the Build number under About phone in Settings
Enable Android Debug Bridge (ADB) by activating USB debugging in Developer options
Plug your phone to your computer
Use command line to reboot to bootloader: adb reboot bootloader
Check that your device is properly detected with command: fastboot devices
Flash recovery with command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
INSTALL AOSP ROM
Make sure that your phone is powered on and plugged in to your computer
Put the ROM (AOSP_V3_XANCIN.zip) in your phone's internal memory – there is no need for GAPPS as they are already included
Use command line to reboot to recovery: adb reboot recovery
Use option Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Use option Wipe Cache Partition
Use option Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache
Use option Mounts & storage > Format System Partition
Go to Install zip from sdcard and install AOSP_V3_XANCIN.zip
From main menu choose Reboot System Now
ROM will boot. Remember that first boot takes a long time. Enjoy!
