Rom for Lenovo P780

base : VIBEUI_V1.5_1423_9_ST_P780_5B7B

Removed all chinese and Lenovo applications whitout camera and gallery

Added GAPPS, ROOT and some stock apps

This rom is multilanguage, contain about 70 languages

 

Install ROM :

 

 

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select the MT6589_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
   –> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed

- choose DA DL All With Check Sum
- Turn off your phone, (push the red reset button)

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow, if no, then have to install the driver from Flash toolSP_Drivers_v1.5 folder

- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Hello everyone.

This is ColorOS by OPPO, ported to our phones. Fast, simple and beautiful :)

Supported languages: IN, DE, EN, VI, TR, RU, CN, NL

 

Chengelog:

  • Lenovo A820 ROM COLOROS V3

    • ODEXED all (faster, more free space in /data)
    • Added Swype keyboard.
    • Add Oppo Browser.
    • Enabled A-GPS by defaut.
    • Baseband V23.
    • Add "Auto record calls" function in call settings, you can assign contacts to auto start call recording with them.
    • Fixed lost app in Sdcard when restart the phone.
    • Add the function to turn off data network automatically when the screen is off.
    • Added the function to double tap the home button to lock the screen, now you need to long press on the Menu button to enable task manager.
    • Updated the system strings, including English and all other languages.
    • Updated Gapps.
    • Fixed the issue that power on sound cannot be turned off.
    • Fixed the issue that when using Bluetooth headset the phone may lost service.
    • Fxied the issue when logging in email under Japanese language the email app may crash.
    • Fixed the issue when creating a new message if you are trying to add recipient from call log the contact app stop working.

Important:

I'm uploading here Superthan's version of ColorOS port to our devices, because it's much better than mine, I think… So I leave porting this rom in superthan's hands ;)

Install 4.4.2 ROM :

 

- Download all files

- boot into bootloader (adb reboot-bootloader)

- boot into CWM recovery (fastboot boot cwm_recovery_custom.img)

- flash the rom with recovery (adb sideload filename, or from SD)

- Wipe data factory reset in recovery mode! (IMPORTANT!!!)

- If you want to root, then flash the UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.94.zip

- Reboot

 

If your phone do not boot into CWM, then first install this 4.2.2 ROM to your phone :

 

- extract the files

- copy to SD/sdfuse folder the K910_SS_S_2_040_0109_131226.qsb file

- switch off the phone

- push together the power and volume down button 

- if the phone switched on, choose the 4. SD Update and follow the instruction

- reboot

- Now go to install the 4.4.2

 

if you do not have adb, fastboot, then use what I upload here!

 

 

IMPORTANT!

The ROM is password protected!

ROM Android 4.1.1, this is mod of original Lenovo S113 ROM (was designed for Europe). Everything works without problems and shortcomings encountered in different custom ROM.  The phone goes smoothly without lags. The advantage of this ROM is very good battery life, ROOT is included, ROM contains Google apps, LED notification works, writing SMS also works in landscape mode and GPS fix is fast (considering options MTK6577 chip). The older version of the Android does not matter, differences compared to Android 4.2.2 are minimal. ROM is suitable for people who do not conform to errors an unoriginal custom ROM.

If you haven't good CWM (there is no Install choice) and your ROM is ROOTed use this instalation procedure:
1. Download file "recovery.img" (it's TWRP 2.5.0.0)  http://d-h.st/UTJ,save it to the root directory on SD card
2. Install Mobile Uncle apk from Google Play and run it (ROOT required)
3. Choose "Recovery update", you will see file list on SD card, first is "recovery.img"
4. Pop up two choices, click 2x to OK:

5. Now you are in TWRP 2500

Installation:
1. Format SD card and place ZIP ROM on SD card
2. If you haven't it, install TWRP recovery (see above), go to TWRP
3. First Wipe (select all options except SD card), then install ZIP ROM
   -in TWRP click on Install button and choose ZIP file ROM
​   -drag button "Swipe to Confirm Flash" to install it
   -click on button "Clear cache/dalvik"
   -clicik on button "Reboot System"
4. System will restart – patience required – first boot takes a while
5. Go to Settings/Storage/default write disk, click here to "SD Storage" and then "OK" 
6. Phone restarts and boots up 
7. Done, using phone
8. To display the number of unread e-mails, SMS and missed calls on the corresponding icons, install this modified Tesla plugin for Nova Nova Launcher and in Nova settings turn it on - http://uloz.to/xSb37fQU/teslaunread-plugin-2-3-apk
9. To change battery style, click on icon Settings/Display/Battery Style
10. Turn-off display of  ROOT pop-up dialogs: click to icon SuperSU, then Settings/Show notifications -> uncheck it
11. Setup well Lenovo Power 

If you have in your phone an earlier version of this ROM (e.g. v.08), you can simply install a new version (e.g. v.11). It is not necessary to do full wipe (as is described above). In TWRP simply install new version, do Wipe Dalvik/Cache and restart to system. All your personal settings will retained.

Warning: Do not use GravityBox in this ROM, most settings not working well.

If you have any problem with installation (especially if you have an asian ROM in phone) or something in phone don't work normally, first install standard european ROM S110, then install THIS ROM. Right order is: ROM S110 > CWM > TWRP > S113 ROM.

Memory repartition (optional):
Lenovo (as a most phones with Mediatek chipset) has normally very badly divided internal memory. This can be easily corrected by the repartition applications "anzhuo365.apk" http://d-h.st/ra0. Ideally reallocation of memory do immediately after installing ROMs, do not let them bother with the backup.

0. Make sure that you have installed TWRP recovery, link is above the download link ROM 
1. Install apku "anzhuo365.apk" and run it 
2. In the application, click the item "2.5 Гб внутр. Памяти, 80Мб SDСагd" 
3. Then click on the "Загрузка в Rесоvегу", it throws you into TWRP recovery 
4. In recovery click on the "Wipe" and uncheck all items except the SD card. 
5. When deleting complete reinstall ZIP ROMs Android 4.2.2 
6. Restart your phone should boot up 
7. Done

8. If after memory repartition the phone hangs on the Lenovo logo, start TWRP, first do factory reset (swipe button in Wipe menu), then wipe all (except SD card) and finally install ZIP ROM again.
9. Then phone will work normally.

1 Internal memory 770 MB, SD Card 1.5GB, system 769 MB, data 769 MB, cache 513 MB

How to set a custom mellodies:

Custom mellody for SMS notification
1. give e.g. MP3 file to folder "Notifications" on SD card.
2. Then set it in Settings/Audio profiles/General/Notifications
Custom mellody as Ringtone
1. give e.g. MP3 file to folder "Ringtones" on SD card
2. Then set it in in Settings/Audio profiles/General/Voice call ringtone
Custom mellody as Alarm clock
1. give e.g. MP3 file to folder "Alarms" on SD card
2. Then set it in icon Clock, choose Alarms, set alarm time and choose your melody

Help with better translation into other languages:
1. Download ZIP file "used_languages.zip", unpack it – link is above
2. Install text editor Notepad++ http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.6.3.html
    (translate strictly in Notepad++ editor)
3. The best way to translate:
    - setup phone to your language, e.g. Slovak
    - If you see some english text in phone settings, use e.g. Total Commnder and find this text (you have to find text in files) in files form ZIP archive
    - you will find location of english text in file name (e.g. strings.xml in folder values)
    -  find the same file in slovak folder (values-sk)
    - copy full strings from english file to slovak file, e.g.
         Update
         Aktualizuj
  – do it for all english text which you found
6. If you will have translated files, send me it, I will prepare a new version of ROM

Updated the firmware: From 09.06.14 deodexed_KITKAT_4.4.2_S820_ST_3_Plus.zip 

changes: 

- Google launcher replaced by Novo Launcher 
- Radio module changed to V102 with ROW S960 
- Removed Chinese Market 
- The camera changed to Snap Camera HDR thereby icpravlena HDR work 
- Added Radio in firmware

In the latest builds, I changed to Novo launcher Launcher who do not like the standard place AOSP Launcher_standart.zip

Carliv Touch Recovery V2.4

Alternative for CWM Recovery,here is Carliv Touch recovery ported to Lenovo S939 by JM(me).Fully touch function and mount usb storage.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Flash with SPFlashtools or install recovery with MobileUncle Tools(need root).

 

Now update to v2.4:-

Fixed catastrophe screen pixel :) before entering recovery.

 

With SPFlashTools–

 

1)Need to install driver and software below in PC

- SPFlashTools v5.1352.01

2)Off phone>Run SPFlashTools>Click options-options>Download>mark DA DL All with checksum>Click scatter loading>find and choose MT6592_Android_scatter.txt>Click Download

 

3)Off your phone>pull out battery>connect usb…….wait till the dialog OK appear

 

4)Pull out usb>put the battery>and reboot to recovery by  pressing and hold power+vol up+vol down…after you see a boot splash,release power n vol down but keep pressing vol up repeatly until enter recovery mode.

 

With MobileUncleTools–

 

1)Install MobileUncle on your phone- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobileuncle.toolbox

 

2)Download and extract Carliv Touch and copy recovery.img to root of sdcard (not in any folder)

 

3)Run MobileUncle and give it root permission

 

4)Touch Recovery Update

 

5)Look at Recovery file in SDCard and touch recovery.img

 

6)When a dialog appear,just touch OK

 

7)Reboot into recovery mode>choose OK or cancel…and you're done

A889 S017 by CRACKTECH

The S017 ROM must be installed via TWRP recovery there and instructions on how to install TWRP either through flashing using SPFlashTool or using MobileUncleTool is given in the instructions sheet.

The update to S017 will update GApps and add other necessary system files like GMail/Maps/Talk/ update Lenovo specific apps like Launchers/SEcureIt/LenovoSync and Google Sync apps and update some framework files since the upgrade from S011 to S017 is only about 20Mb and mostly it is Lenovo bloatwares.

First you must already obtain root access to upgrade – if you are are not rooted and on stock ROM you must gain temporary root access by using VROOT (which is to be installed on PC and will Root the phone via USB connection- dont want to go into that topic – Google for it!) this will enable you to use MobileUncleTool to install TWRP recovery.

Or if you are experienced you can flash the TWRP recovery only using SPFlashTool.

Flash the MAIN BASE ROM and the S017update zip file in a single process using TWRP.

The settings defaults to Germany/Europe in the time/date settings and GPS location please change the locale from "de" (Germany) to your country e.g "fr"(France),"pl"(Poland). DO NOT use MobileUncleTool/Faster GPS/GPS Doctor apps  to change the gps.settings. you only have to edit your locale in the file called "gps.conf" in system/etc folder.(please use RootExplorer/RootBrowser app) There are specific settings only for MTK devices those apps (Faster GPS/GPS Doctor/MobileUncleTool) will overwrite the settings!

In the NTPSync you must also input the locale. Update to SuperSU 1.99r3

This is to be installed via TWRP (recommende) or CWM— Includes GMail/Hangouts/Google Calendar/YouTube/Google Search (updated correct version) /Google Plus/Updated Playstore/ updated Lenovo Safe (english)/ Mobile Uncle Tool/SuperSU 1.94,Lenovo sync, updated Lenovo Launcher., GoogleMaps  and gps.conf file (have to be edited to your respective country dont use Faster GPS app as it will delete the other settings that has upto 18 line of settings to about 4 lines only) and a host of preinstalled software free versions only.Please use RootExplorer to edit the gps.conf file change from asia.ntp.server >> europe.ntp.server for those living in Europe and key in the 2 digit country code for your country e.g "de" Germany" "fr" France, "pl" Poland. You will get instantanues sattelite fix (contrary to complains on MTK devices. Accuracy is 25feet or less.

I have updated the SuperSU to 1.99r3 and added in the SNAPit (Lenovo SuperCamera) if it doesnt appear in the firmware you can request it from me.

This version has a smaller bottom task bar (black) instaead of the Grey thick task bar.

This 2nd version includes Lenovo Super Camera App – SNAP-IT but it doesnt work on the front facing Camera only the high resolution back facing camera.

ROM Mobile LENOVO S660 – ROM Android 4.2.2

ONLY MT6582

Based on Official ROM LENOVO version S660_S026_140228

Gapps include – Rooted

Language support: Multilang

 

ROM Install :

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6582_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
   –> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Chaged the apns-conf.xml

Removed all unusable app

 

Install ROM :

 

 - Download all files

- copy the A760_Multilang_GAPPS.zip to SD card

- boot the phone into bootloader (adb reboot-bootloader)

- flash the cwm recowery (fastboot flash recowery CWMrecovery.img)

- remove battery in 5 sec, and boot the phone with volume up + volume down + power button

- wait the cwm recovery

- install the A760_Multilang_GAPPS.zip with CWM recovery from external SD

- this cwm works a bit strangely (the image bounce), but the flash works as correctly

- reboot

 

If you don't know how to use adb and fastboot, then use minimal ADB fastboot : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790

If you want to root your phone, then use VROOT application
