This is an Android Lollipop 5.1 AOSP rom, so don’t expect to see all the features you have seen in VibeUI before. This firmware has been modified to be as light and as small as possible, without compromising core features and performance.

Includes:

– Basic Google Apps Integration (Play Store only)
– Lenovo Music
– Dolby Atmos

Features:

– Rooted
– Integrated SuperSU
– Corrected Power Profile. (CPU Speed and power consumption)
– Hidden tweaks and changes
– Enabled Multiple Users
– Changed default wallpaper
– Changed Boot Animation
– Changed Boot Logo

Major Changes:
– Xposed Framework is compatible and working. It is not included in the ROM so install manually.
– Miravision is now integrated.
– Backup and Restore App is now integrated.
– Setup Wizard will get you through the first boot.
– G,E,3G, and 4G icons have been modified to take lesser space in the status bar.

Bug:
– LED Notifications are still not working. I am still looking for a fix.
*** Setup Wizard has a skipping bug. Please refer to the update on this post below.

Installation:
– If you came from Carbon K3 Lite 1.0, you will need to WIPE DATA or do a FACTORY RESET. There are too many changes and because of this, if you install 2.0 on top of 1.0, the system might become unstable.
– Install through CWM, Carliv, or TWRP Recovery. It will take a while to install and initialize at first boot.
IMPORTANT: Please WIPE CACHE, DALVIK-CACHE, and WIPE DATA or do a FACTORY RESET. This is to make sure that the installation is clean.

!!! INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK. I TESTED THIS ON MY DEVICE (K3 NOTE [K50-T5]) AND IT WORKS WELL. I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MISHAP ON YOUR UNIT !!!

UPDATE: There have been reports that the Setup Wizard gives off errors when trying to skip it and loops back. This happens when you don't have a Wi-Fi connection at hand.

Here's a fix that will completely remove the Setup Wizard.

Installation: Install through your custom recovery. You may install this when you get stuck, or right after a fresh install of Carbon K3 Lite 2.0.

include: GooglePlayStore, Lenovo Camera ver. 4.1, MaxAudio (not Dolby Atmos)…Unlike some other versions, I've tried, this version quickly charges the battery. GPS works great. Locate fast satellites(when GPS is set on device only). Double tap to wake. slide left or right to unlock, draw "v" or "o" for camera / google/firefox, or other apps you wish, and other features works , they are in Settings->Character settings !!! (not like in Indian version – in features). Mail Exchange Services works great with Email app, Led notification for unread mails works only with pre-installed Email app.

All applications ,drivers and flash you have here (on my links on the top of this page). You can find and some utility USBDeview – it helps in case pc does not recognize your phone. If your PC doesn't recognize your phone(after you connect phone, nothing happens), use USBDeview.exe, and uninstall devices like MTP…, Preloader…. (right click on device, uninstall…) After that, install drivers ,flash tool…You not need rooting, only do steps 1.2.3.4:

1.install USB driver from Drivers.zip -> Install drivers -> flash drivers–auto install -> InstallDriver.exe .AFTER INSTALLING CONNECT YOUR PHONE, WINDOWS WILL SHOW MESSAGE SEARCHING FOR DRIVERS….DRIVER IS INSTALLED. YOU MUST SEE THIS MESSAGE. AFTER, DISCONECT PHONE FROM PC.SHUTDOWN PHONE!

2.unzip AIO_Upgrade_Tools_v5.1436.00.000.zip . In extracted folders you will find flash_tool.exe

3.Unzip K50-T5_USR_ST2511_5.444.1_1503111505-Lang-PK4.zip, In extracted folders you will find file "MT6752_Android_scatter.txt".

4.RUN flash_tool.exe, select scatter file "MT6752_Android_scatter.txt"., click download, and connect your SWITCHED OFF phone. Progress bar (yellow color) will appear, wait until message dialog "Download OK". Disconect phone and that's all. Power on the phone, wait 5-10 min and here is your new firmware.

You have many videos…just search "SP FlashTool K3 NOTE"

if nothing happens when you connect your phone, run USBDeview.exe, and uninstall devices like MTP…, Preloader…. Restart PC. Run steps 1,2,3,4 again.

NEW: Automatic updates: OTA UPDATE TO GET LATEST STABLE VERSION,

ALSO SUCCESSFUL FIX FOR INVALID IMEI AND "NVRAM WARNING ERR: = 0×10" ! ! (IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH IMEI AND WIFI)

INVALID IMEI: Download file IMEI restore.zip. You can find pictures inside zip – to help you. Do That.

For me – it doesnt work . But DO THAT!. After 4 days trying to solve INVALID IMEI, and WIFI error "nvram warning err: = 0×10", finaly I have success! Just download LenovoOTA_v3.5.zip. UnRoute your phone. Install LENOVOOTA FOR OTA UPDATES. Run . Now your phone will use OTA and you will have latest STABLE version of vibeui (Stable – ST, not developer DEV)! Download updates and install them. Finnaly, SOLVED INVALID IMEI – IMEI IS OK, and WIFI ERROR message "nvram warning err: = 0×10" has gone too.. Everything is great ! Now I have STABLE VERSION VIBEUI_V2.8._1535_5.1281.1_ST_K50-T5. After update, route phone again and install google play services (becouse they will lost while Automatic update (OTA update)). This gaps works: gapps-5.1-arm64-2015-07-17-15-08_OK.zip. (I tried many gaps, but with no success. This one is OK. Gaps install throught twrp.

PS. After AUTOMATIC OTA UPDATES YOU WILL ONLY HAVE ENGLISH AND CHINESE LANGUAGE, NOT MULTILANGUAGE!

Lenovo S850 Installing Android Lollipop 5.0 Custom ROM - This is an Android Lollipop for Lenovo S850 but this is custom ROM develop by russian developer from 4pda.ru, so if you wanna taste or feel the experience using Android 5.0 Lollipop then you must try to install this custom ROM to your device.
This is a custom ROM so there many bug on it, and it also have some requirements to be fulfilled, this guide will show you how to install a Android 5.0 Lollipop custom ROM on your Lenovo S850. This guide using flash tool method to install Android 5.0 Lollipop, so it will erase all your previous ROM and data so please make backup preparations before starting following this guide.

This guide for educational purpose only, We not responsible if your device bricked after following this tutorial. Even this guide is already tested but it has possibility to brick your phone, Until now i still cannot fix Lenovo S850 that have signal lost problem so do with your own risk (DWYOR)

Downloads :

S850 Android L v2 ↦ 1.6 Gb, contains all images to update your device to Android 5.0 L with flash tool.
S850_Android_L v1 ↦ 1.5 Gb
USB Vcom driver ↦ this need to be installed first, without this installed properly flash tool will not recognize your device and progress bar will remains at 0%.
SP Flash Tool v3.1320 ↦ flash tool to insert or flash the ROM to your Lenovo S850, recommended to use only this version.

Lenovo S850 Installing Android Lollipop 5.0 Custom ROM

First thing to do is install USB Vcom driver on your computer, without this driver installed on your computer flash tool will not recognize your device and progress bar will stay at 0%, for installing USB Vcom driver please refer to this below :
- turn off your device and remove the battery, If you device using non removable make sure that your device is completely turn off wait like 20 seconds after power off the device
- open device manager on your computer
- connect your device using USB cable
- there will be MTK65xx Preloader Devices show on your device manager, PORT section for 5 second or less and then disappear
- disconnect and connect your device again, right click on MTK65xx Preloader Devices before it disappear, select Update Driver Software
- point it USB VCOM extracted folder, and install the driver from there.
- disconnect and connect your device again, there will be Mediatek PreLoader USB VCOM Port on your device manager PORT section.
Extract the ROM download files, there will be contains 2 folder ROM folder and flash tool folder, now just go to flash tool folder and run flash_tool.exe
On the flash tool, check DA DL All with Checksum option this is must checked option so please don't forget it. Click Scatter-Loading button browse to target_bin folder and select MT6582_Android_scatter.txt file, when you select it will automatically load the rest files to flash tool.
When everything is set just press Download button or press F9, flash tool will begin to prepare the files that will be used for flashing process, wait until finish.
Now turn off your device, because Lenovo S850 use non removable battery you must make sure that it completely turn off. Connect your device to your computer, flash tool will recognize the device and starting flashing process, the process will take 5-6 minutes to finish and when you can see GREEN CIRCLE on the middle of flash tool that mean flashing process already finish successfully
Done, you have successful install Android 5.0 Lollipop to your Lenovo S850. Disconnect your device and try to do normal booting, first booting will take longer than usually approx 5 minutes or less so be patient.

Congratulations, Please remember that this ROM is on develop stage so if you consider that this ROM cannot use for daily just change the ROM again, and plese don't complain about bugs to me because i just share what i found on the net. 1) With SPFlash tool, install Carliv Touch Recovery Lenovo A319,

2) Boot into recovery mode and install SuperSU Pro .zip file
